Ulya Jensen has been featured several times in the Ottawa Citizen newspaper. In her most recent feature, Ulya's home is one of five houses chosen as part of the IODE Laurentian Chapter's 48th Annual House and Garden Tour: "Customized to fit. Five homes and an envoy's residence prove smart design, careful spending make for stylish living. Ulya Jensen's Westboro home wasn't custom-built, but it's as close as one can get without having to pay dearly for the privilege of picking every last detail."

Ulya appeared regularly on HGTVs Home to Flip with Peter Fallico as show's designer.
Ulya was also the runner up in HGTV's “Designer Superstar Challenge II”. Her audition tape was selected from thousands of applicants. 10 individuals were chosen from a cross-Canada search to participate in various design challenges. Each challenge tested the individuals design knowledge and ability to communicate their works to a panel of 3 judges; Anna Simone from Cecconi Simone, Suzanne Dimma from Wish magazine and Jeff Andrews from Ford talent agency. She placed first in an on-line popularity poll run by HGTV and finished as one of Canada's top 3 designers.

Ulya is featured in Ottawa at Home, discussing how renovation know how and realistic goals helped create the space she calls home: "When Ulya Jensen toured a 950-square-foot bungalow in Ottawa's Wellington Village four years ago, her friends quickly dismissed it as a lost cause and dubbed it “the doll house.” But the Hamilton native could see the rehab potential hidden within its cracked plaster walls."
